Mrs. Hirut Visits Her Former School Holy Trinity Cathedral Primary School

State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, H.E. Mrs Hirut Zemene today (February 24) visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral Primary School in Addis Ababa, her former school, and shared her experiences to students. The visit is part of the government’s initiative to help inspire students and the youth.

Noting that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, Mrs. Hirut told students that if they focus on their education and uphold the right character and discipline, they will be responsible citizens. Responsible citizens, she says, will successfully manage to serve their family, their city and their country at large.

Walking down memory lane, Mrs. Hirut shared her experience from the early years of her primary education until her today’s career in diplomacy. She said she took delight in representing Ethiopia in the diplomatic frontiers, working for the good of the public and promoting national interest.

On the occasion, other former students of the Holy Trinity Cathedral Primary School, who are now serving the country in various sectors and capacities, have also related their experience to the students.

State Minister Mrs. Hirut have also donated dozens of books to the Holy Trinity Cathedral Primary School.
