The eccliastical articles are now \ntransferred to the newly built standard Museum denoted by Ato Kebede \nTekalign a devoted follower of the Ethiopian Orthodox church. \nInaugurated by his holiness Abune paulos, patriarch of the Ethiopian \northodox, Archbishop of Axum, Echege of the see of Teklehaimanot, \nPresident of the council of churches and Honorary president of world \nreliogions for peace.&nbsp; The Museum houses a lot of historical and \neccliastical heritages which are priceless.\nThe relics are the contributions of Emperors, Empresses, individual, \nsister churches and Church fathers.&nbsp; The heritages have kept their \norigin for many years against the wears and tears of time.&nbsp; The elements\n from which the relics made are from Gold, Silver Brace and so on.&nbsp; \nThere are also others which are Gold and Silver plated.&nbsp; Apart from this\n there are many religious Books written on different tipics on \nparchments by different scribes and church scholars.&nbsp; Most of the Books \nare written in Geez language and some of them are in Amharic.&nbsp; Amongst \nthe Books, one can see the amazing Books of Yared about church song \ncompositions.&nbsp; They were composed in the 5th century.&nbsp; This church songs\n are so complex to sing sometimes they may take one a life time to sing \nthem.&nbsp; Furthermore, Ethiopia is the sole owner of its own Alphabet, \nNumerical figures and calendar.\nThe Main Objective of the Museum\n\nTo create conducive situation to exhibit the religious and historical heritages for both public and foreign visitors,\nPainstakingly keep these historical antiquities and pass it on to next generation.\n\nThe tourist attractions are religious and historical relies are categorized as follows.\nHistorical\n\nThrones\nCrowns\nBattle Dresses and so on\n\nReligious\n\nCrosses\nChalise\nPatern\nEmbroidered Cermenial Robs and Umberlias \nMinorah\nBooks Written on parchemenst\n\nList of Doners\n\nArchBishops and Church Fathers\nEmperor Menilek II\nEmpress Taytu\nEmperor Haileselassie\nEmpress Menen\nRoyal princes\nFormer Officials\nOriental churches\n\nThese historical and religious heritages require the attention of the Government and people to protect them from looting.\n\n<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entrance Fee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Foreigners Birr 50.00<\/li><li>Ethiopians Birr 5.00<\/li><li>Students Birr 3.00<\/li><li>Video Birr 50.0<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The former Museum was in the down stairs chambers of the cathedral which was not convenient for visitors.
